New Jersey Safety Council's Defensive Driving Course

Course Description: The New Jersey Safety Council's Defensive Driving course is designed to educate all drivers, regardless of age or occupation, based on the most recent research on injury prevention in motor vehicle collisions. Topics such as vehicle safety features are explored as well as methods for drivers to keep alert and reactive behind the wheel during everyday driving.

This defensive driving course is approved for a 2-point reduction and/or insurance discount in the State of New Jersey by the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission for an additional fee.

Audience: All vehicle operators.

Class Time: Approximately 6 Hours

Certification: New Jersey Safety Council DDC Course Completion Certificate

Education Credit: Elective CEUs for EMTs/Paramedics pending OEMS Approval
